I SCREAM you SCREAM, we all SCREAM for ICE CREAM!!!
This fall, I had the privilege to participate in an adoption benefit for
our church Pastor’s soon-to-be adopted daughter.
I jumped at the chance to help out, and what better way to fundraise for this great cause than an
Ice Cream Social!
This was supposed to be on a bright sunny day, but the weather had different plans.
It was a stormy rainy day. The party was moved inside, but that didn’t hold us back from enjoying
some frozen treats.
My talented friend Susan from Lily Fields Photography was so kind to
volunteer her time to photograph this event.
This fundraiser was a huge success!
A warm thank you to all who came out to enjoy ice cream, celebrate
and support this special little girl being adopted into her
I went to our local wholesale grocery store and purchased in bulk:
We had a separate table full of pre-scooped bowls of ice cream so people could crab their bowl and
then work their way over to get their toppings. Lot’s of seconds on the topping table.
It was pretty popular with the kids!
